Please note that there is a general time limit of 3 months (less one day) from the date of the act complained of to bring most types of claims in the Employment Tribunals, which can be extended by using the ACAS Early Conciliation process. If the time limit is missed, you are likely to be automatically prevented from pursuing a claim.

Until our solicitors assess your case fully, the NAEO is not able to provide any more detailed advice about time limits. It will remain your responsibility to take steps to protect your position and neither the NAEO, nor its solicitors, will lodge a claim for you unless it is confirmed to you in writing that we will.
